MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted October 8, 2013 You guys are really bumming me out, I may be solo in there for the hunt!!!! GUess I will have to bivy in some thick stuff and stay off the trail. mc68 Report post Posted October 8, 2013 Yes, the guy we came across spoke perfect English. The officer told us that's pretty much the way it works with the guides. He had on a Thatcher Eagles sweatshirt...I can honestly tell you that the terrain the guy went through to get where we encountered him was pure heck. He was pretty scratched up and his clothes were torn pretty good. I felt bad kind of until talking to the Officer and him explaining how these guides totally exploit the people and then abandon them. I wasn't happy to hear about them taking more and more to the back country though. I personally think you will be better off camping in a more popular spot as I don't think the illegals will be as brave in those areas...again, good luck.
