TAM Report post Posted November 4, 2006 I just spoke with the owner of JJ trailers this evening. They have started to build the tandems and have already sold their first three. The tandems will have a 17 foot bed of which 12 feet will be tent with the other 5 feet being open like a front porch with an awning. They will be able to hold 4 quads. If you want one they are available now, you just have to wait while they build it. If anyone's interested send me an email and I'll put you in touch with the owner. Jimhm Report post Posted November 8, 2006 If anyone is interested in the Jumping Jack trailer you can call Levi McClendon @ 602-920-7922 and when he can get at least 3 orders and coordinate with Jumping Jack when they are coming through town you can save about $500 per trailer. He can order it with any extra's that you would like. Jimbo, (Coosefan), has ours in New Mexico now and he put the Rhino on top and said that it pulled great. I ordered the electric brakes on ours because I don't trust his driving. Jim

Tucson John Report post Posted November 9, 2006 There was an Ebay acuction last week for JJ trailers. I called the guy (in Mesa) and he sounded pretty ligit. The auction ended with the reserve not met at $3500. The "buy it now price was $48?? something. What's the price going through Levi? I like these trailers but I think they are overpriced. arizonian Report post Posted November 9, 2006 I think they just alow them to show them infront of the stores. Theyu are there evry day at the Mesa store. They have three of them out front. One with a honda on top and closed up and then one set up And another with all the add on on it. I am thinking they will only sleep two people unless there is more bed space than i see in them. That is the problem with the toy haulers that i have heard is they hit the lower drop down beds. Are the rangers as tall. I am wanting a ranger and i was going to be getting a toy hauler for it. I guess if i go with justy one drop down bed in the back it should work right. I do not need the double full beds to drop in the rear. Backwoods RV & Trailer Sales 5151 N. catclaw Report post Posted November 15, 2006 They look pretty slick and handy, but they are obviously fair weather set-ups. They won't stand up to a heavy wind or snow load. I was able to deflect them pretty easily with my hand. I can prop and extra upright in the center of my wall tent and it will stand 16" of snow no problem- doesn't set up quite as fast as this one though. I don't see a spot for the stovepipe either! I guess it depends on your needs. I just built a small trailer with a torsion axle and throw my wall tent in with the 4 wheeler and away we go. It won't fit a Rhino, but then I don't have a Rhino. COOSEFAN Report post Posted November 16, 2006 Alright Shortpants........i'm back and I didn't hurt the JJtrailer one bit I took the JJtrailer on it's maiden voyage and slept in it for close to two weeks in snow, high winds, and FREEZING temps. It did awesome! I believe it will withstand alot of snow on it. The frame and construction overall is VERY sturdy.......more so than any tent trailer I've seen. We never had more than 2 inches of snow on it, but it never sagged and never leaked. It does not have a stove jack in it, but it does have two small vent flaps that will allow a propane hose to run into the tent for a heater........I'm getting one of those before I use it again! We used a small heater and it held the heat in nicely but I hate being cold at all, so I'm gonna buy one of them industrial sized heaters and run it off the big propane tank! It pulled great and I never worried about the Rhino. I would definitely reccomend this trailer I forgot to get pic's of it set up, kept saying I'll get it before we tear down, but forgot so here is what I did get. Dan H Report post Posted November 17, 2006 Coosefan, wheres the elk or deer in the rhino???? How was the hunt? The main question on JJ trailers,....Would it be suitable/comfortable enough for a woman for a few days on end? Dan
shortpants Report post Posted November 17, 2006 Glad you made it back Jimbo! How did the new windshield configuration work out on the rhino?
COOSEFAN Report post Posted November 17, 2006 Hey Dan H, If I had the tag.......there would have been a nice buck in the back, and if NM G+F let you keep skulls.....I would have had a couple big elk racks in the back as well We are going to have a woman stay in this trailer on the late 12AW deer hunt and I'm sure she'll be fine. All you need is a good heater and a lantern and your set. Shortypants, raising the windsheild made a world of difference as far as the dust goes, but after the snow came.......it made it too darn cold with less wind deflection so it stayed parked in camp the rest of the time. Dan H Report post Posted November 17, 2006 Bet your really hoping for snow to push them bucks down the strip. That must be an awesome hunt. If only the AZGFD would allow an archery hunt like for lifetime az residents in there in nov/dec as a supreme bonus or something. The odds of getting the strip are getting worse every year. Well we'll be waiting for photos from your hunt. Dan
