azhuntnut Report post Posted September 21, 2013 I'm loading up some handloads for my sons deer hunt. Gonna use Nosler Combined Technology 95 grain ballistic silvertip. Anybody have a load for 95 grain and IMR 4350 powder? David
Benbrown Report post Posted September 21, 2013 With IMR 4350, 41.0 grains with a 95-grain Ballistic Tip will get you right around 3,000 fps (I load W-W cases with Winchester Large Rifle primers). As always, start a little lower and work your way up. FWIW, with a young hunter, there is no need to push envelope and a lighter load may do the job just as well with less recoil and muzzle blast.
muledeerarea33? Report post Posted September 21, 2013 A different bullet but. I use Sierra 100grn spitzers with imr 4350 at 41.3 grains, cci primer and Winchester cases. Similar load for the 105 Bergers.

firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted September 21, 2013 Google has been my friend lately in trying to discover new loads, especially for my 300 wsm and RL 17.
coues7 Report post Posted September 21, 2013 If I was you I'd try H4350. My daughters Savage is a laser with 41.7gr and the 95gr BT's. This is a VERY POPULAR load.
Diamondbackaz Report post Posted September 22, 2013 My 243 model seven doesn't shoot the heavy bullets well so I don't load for them anymore. It shoots bug holes with the lighter bullets.

It is a rem 700 with the a 1/9.25 twist rate. I have 8 pounds of imr4350 and a bunch of cci 200's. I have found a few loads online starting around 41 grains of imr4350. I might even load a some with rl-17. I use this powder in my 243wssm and it is a laser. David
