Diamondbackaz Report post Posted November 2, 2006 I have a 2004 , 400 and 500 sportsman. you can tell the power differance betwwen them but they both preform fairly well. the only problem i have is that when i get up in higher elevations they tend to miss or sputter. this is a jet problem i think. the dealer says so any way. higher up the thinner the air, Yes it is a jetting issue, you will run rich at higher elevations.
