Yeti Coolers - Best Price?

Recommended Posts

Everywhere I have seen them they are all the same price for any given size. I'd like to get a 105qt if anyone know of a better place to buy one that the usual places I'm all ears.

They are like swaros. Almost the same exact price everywhere that sells them. Your best bet is to get your hands on a coupon and get it a little cheaper that way. Good luck.

If you are open to a different brand, Canyon Coolers is also a high-end cooler maker based in Arizona and just became a sponsor here.

They are generally less expensive than Yetis or Engels and Ross Outdoors (also a CWT.com sponsor) is giving 10% off all Canyon Coolers in September for mentioning CWT.com.

I don't own one yet but I can say they are responsive to customers. I sent an email about where they're sourced and received an email back 62 minutes later (at 8:10 P.M.) with the answer. I was impressed.

Hopefully, I'll be stopping by Ross Outdoors this weekend to pick one up. I know there's debate among the high-end cooler crowd about which is "best" but they're all an upgrade over the old Coleman with the warped lid that's in my garage and holding ice for 5.5 days vs. 6 days doesn't effect me. You may be in a different situation though.

Good luck!

I was going to suggest the same, look into the Canyon Coolers. Something to be said for buying local also!

downside to these high end coolers is I know a buddy who was camping with a group and 3 of them went missing one afternoon while they were gone. People go out scouting just to steal these and resell them. They are targets so if you get one keep it out of site. Sucks that it happens but if your in high traffic areas they will disappear.

Only bad thing about my yeti is that I have to lock it up every time. Hard to leave a 400 dollar cooler in the bed of the truck with 60 bucks worth of coors light inside. I don't even leave it on the deck of the cabin any more cause I caught someone stopping and checking it out. Two more steps they were gonna have a bad day.

Never foxed with a canyon cooler but from what I have seen they are built just like a yeti.

I have three canyon coolers (22qt, 70qt, and 160 qt) and love them. I've had them for around a year and a lot of adventures already. They are holding up great. The company is super to deal with and now I see some of my hunting partners that have yetis also have the canyons and they say they are every bit as good for a better price.

If you buy one you'll have to build a giant lock box out of steel and lag bolt that to a tree, add some logging chain and a few good locks. Oh and don't put it on a water hole or to close to a road cause it will get stolen. Also you might think about a trail camera to watch your cooler. Of course your going to need another lock box and some more logging chain......
