AZHUNTER05 Report post Posted September 19, 2013 I can't post pics from my phone or I would. Yesterday afternoon we headed out to some natural blinds we built on some well used trails. Once we got settled in the wind wouldn't cooperate, so we decided to go spot n stalk instead. As we were walking my buddy decides to sit and watch a clearing we had seen elk in a few days earlier, as I took off to do some walking. 15 minutes later i look up the hill I was standing on and see a bull standing broadside at 50 yards. I'm down wind from the bull, so I had to make a quick decision to shoot or let him walk. As I ranged him I saw what I believed to be a nice 6 point, so I decided to shoot. I drew back and let a 100 grain schwaker fly! The bull takes off up the hill and out of sight. I wasn't sure if I hit him or not, so I headed up quickly and located my arrow. The arrow was completely covered in blood! I txted my buddy and as he headed my way, he located my bull! Unfortunately when I got to my bull I found that he was actually a 4 point! No matter how big or small, we put a lot of hard work into getting a bull down and I'm extremely happy with it! We'll here are some pictures of my bull! Sorry it took so long to post pictures! Unfortunately we were only able to fill one out of thre tags, it was a very tough year.
