TLH Report post Posted October 18, 2006 Howdy folks!! We will be having the ADA junior deer camp in 20C/18B this year and the camp will be set up between the 17th of November to the 19th of November. We could use as many folks as we can to make this a special hunt for all of the young hunters we will have there. Read on for the location of the camp!! We will be setting up the camp at about mp15.3 just west of the Date Creek road between Congress and Hillside. The camp is 5 miles south of Hillside. It's an open area and the camp is visible from the Date Creek road. Quail season is open and folks have actually walked right out of camp to chase a few birds. Come on up--or over--or down, whatever the case may be and have some fun with all of us folks!! Need more info?? Call me at 623-696-5579.

TLH Report post Posted October 18, 2006 Amanda, just one camp covering both units--we will be set up on the Southern edge of 18B--i know this might be a drive for some but this year it is the best we can do with the resources we have--we would like to have a camp in every youth hunt and this is one of my goals for the future of the J.A.D.A. Thanks for asking---by the way, did you get all of my contact info i sent to you via email yesterday?? Sorry it took so long but i have been pretty busy the past two weeks. stanley Report post Posted October 19, 2006 If anyone gets a chance to join this camp, you should! This hunt, and the junior javelina hunt in the winter are always a good time. Matt Pierce (the WM for 20C) and some great Junior ADA veterans have been running the Jr. Camps up there for a few years, and it's always a good time. With Terry joining, and them taking 18B into the mix, it should be great! I hope they get a lot of kids stopping in! As you know I'll be in 36A, but good luck up there Terry!!! S. PS: Lest anyone thinks Terry and I are running competing Jr. Camps, be assured that we are partnering in this thing in the name of the ADA and other volunteer orgs. It's awesome to see the interest that Terry is bringing to the program.

stanley Report post Posted October 19, 2006 Hey Chris: Thanks for your interest! Per my separate e-mail, I'm working on confirming the question on space. Gabe is usually pretty good about picking spots, but I'll let you know when I confirm with him. Thanks again, S.

Stan, In case you didn't know it--Chris is one of my better buds--he is also the Admin over on the Arizona Sportsman Journal---he has helped with making my announcements sticky over there and we have had some interest from that site. Oh, and if any of you have not been to that site i highly recommend it!! Thanks Chris!!
