24a question

Recommended Posts

Would you guys hunt by the apache mountains by Richmond basin or the pinal mountsins south? I have good legs and glass. I will work for a good buck just curious bout what part you guys recommend

I'd hunt the north section, it looks like less roads, plus, it's all Nat'l Forest land so no access problems.

Take Antmo23's advice. Like bonecollector said...they all hold bucks but the northern and eastern parts of the units has MUCH more area to cover. When the season opens you are looking at a car/tent every 50 yards on the pinals.

Thanks guys I was leaning towards northern part. I'm gonna give it one last shot Thursday. Ill be there all day trying to glass something up. At that Richmond basin area can you glass good there or are there better areas?

Saw a 115 buck in 24a late this evening driving home off main highway I was traveling! All coues counrty in 24a is prime just get out in glass !

Take a good look on google maps. From what I remember trying to reach that area from the West side it is very thick.
