AxisWorks LLC Report post Posted September 5, 2013 Does anyone know who makes the 2 piece scope coats? This one has a browning logo on it but someone is making them. I think I'd like this over the traditional one piece simply because it stays on the scope and not on the ground where you have to go back for it. lol. Ask me how I know. Guest oneshot Report post Posted September 6, 2013 I had made a sunshade out of an old pair of neoprene waders, just a little tube, to extend past the objective lens by about 2inches, worked great for aiming into riseing/setting sun... Not sure where you can get what your looking for, but maybe you could put one together...
AxisWorks LLC Report post Posted September 6, 2013 This is what I was looking for. I saw a guy use one on a hunting show and thought it was neat that he didn't have to take it completely off. After looking at one closely, I realize i wouldn't be able to dial. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/3381168967/snugfit-snapshot-rifle-scope-cover
rcdinaz Report post Posted September 7, 2013 The company "scope coat" is here in AZ, in Phoenix up north. They are really gray people, a few ladies run the operation from a house that has a big part of it turned into an office. They have a policy that they will make anything if you can leave the optic with them they will have what you want in a week or two. They have patterns already for almost everything out there that is popular. I had a swaro RF early on and they made the first cover for that model for me and now offer them. Oh and your cover is free if it a model they don't have. Call them and tell them what you are after they will take care of you. Can't beat using a local company!
