ThomC Report post Posted September 6, 2013 The same situation applies if hunting near any unit boundary. If you shoot animal on one side of the line and it runs across the line and dies then you need proof that the animal was shot in the unit that you have a tag for. The problem is if the animal is not dead when you find it you cannot shoot it again. A good plan would be to contact both states Game Wardens before hunting in that area.
