CouesWhitetail Report post Posted September 3, 2013 The website below is a great one for checking out current legislation and submitting comments. The topic below is about delisting the gray wolf. Comments are running strongly in favor of not delisting. Find out what’s going on and make your voice heard! First go to http://www.regulations.gov/#!home Then under “Search”, type in this Docket ID #… FWS-HQ-ES-2013-0073, or you can scroll down to “What’s Trending” and click on the wolf link (Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants: Gray Wolf (Canis lupus), Mexican Wolf (Canis lupus baileyi)). Either way will get you to the next page. Once you reach that next page, you can review the information on it, and when you’re ready to comment, click on the blue “Comment Now” button. That will take you to the comment page.
gotcoues Report post Posted September 3, 2013 I made it through the first couple pages of comments, I must say I'm concerned and alarmed to read the responses. These are the same people who will without a doubt vote away our hunting rights. I know that is a stretch, but I fear we will lose the numbers game eventually with the constant push of the "wussification" of mankind. With "organized" comments like those, I find hard to believe the delisting will come anytime soon. Who really cares about facts anymore in America, it's really all about feelings and emotions right? Snapshot Report post Posted September 3, 2013 After reading a bunch of the replies, it looks as if the Anti's are making a concentrated effort, as many of the comments are very similar. But then again the liberal bunny hugger types really are clueless.IMO. There are enough factors in play, that cause an ecological imbalance in prey species. Adding wolves into that mix, in today's world, is not helping anything. It only gives the people that support the program, a warm and fuzzy feeling. There is a reason why the wolves were eradicated in the first place. I would just as soon see Grizzlies reintroduced(In Arizona). Unfortunately, that would not work either. Chef Report post Posted September 3, 2013 You guys hit the nail on the head. With so many comments from the anti's, it looks like they are the majority. You and I can see the biased and emotional reasoning to their decisions, but not everyone does. Make your voice heard, wildlife depends on it.
wayno945 Report post Posted September 4, 2013 I think most of those people posting are making multiple comments under fake names. What a farce. What are the odds a susan kay and a kay susan would comment five minutes apart. Those people aren't even trying to hide it...
