64 year old woman swimming from Cuba to Florida! And she is almost there!

Talk about tough! Diana Nyad is attempting her fifth try at swimming from Cuba to Florida. She first tried it in 1978! She is an Olympic long distance swimmer and this has been a dream of hers for 35 years! Anyway, she is almost to Florida....looks like she is going to make it this time. To set a record she has to not touch any of the support boats that are there to help keep her safe. The swim takes 3 days or more!

Incredible heart and determination! I've followed her last 3 attempts. She started this quest when she was 28 years old and failed, she never gave up the dream and at the age of 64 is about to accomplish the amazing journey! Diana Nyad is certainly an inspiration to myself and many others!
