Free to good home reg black lab

Recommended Posts

Here it is guys, the best free dog anyone could ever ask for........

Sadie is 5 years old, is house broken, great with kids, never needs a leash or to be tied up in camp. She will retrieve anything you throw, but has not been hunted. I live in Peoria if you want to come check her out. Pm me with any questions.

Thanks,

Whitey

Any experience around chickens? I really want to get a bird dog and my girlfriend loves labs, but I can't have a chicken eater which makes it tough!

Not sure about chickens????? She listens better than most kids. I know if I told her not to mess with the chickens she would leave them alone, but I really don't know????

How much does she shed? Daughter has a yellow lab that sheds a bunch, but have some friends that have labs and not as noticeable.

Sooo, why are you getting rid of her? How does she do with other dogs, specifically males?

Yes she does shed some, but not what I would call excessive. I have never had her around a male dog, but don't see a problem with that as she is not an aggresive dog.. Having said that she has snapped at my wifes yorkie a couple times when they both went after the same tennis ball. I think she would do best in a single dog family.

That tennis ball thingie would probably turn into a big disaster at my house. My chocolate Lab plays with several every day, and he's just short of 130 lbs. :)

Hershey's favorite trick is to lie on his back with the tennis ball in his mouth. He then uses his paws to take it out and hold his legs straight up in the air with it. I usually take it out of his paws and put it back in his mouth several times, and he repeats the same thing until i quit.

Beautiful dog. I have a yellow lab and she is great. You all know that labs love people, especially kids. Once in a while, my lab snaps at little dogs too. But, that is after her tolerance level is maxed out. She usually likes all dogs.

I wish I could get another dog, but I just can't.......someone should be jumping on this. I think if it were me, I would be getting rid of the yorkie.
