Outdoor Writer Report post Posted August 31, 2013 Got to see the Raffle Tag Buck yesterday. Chis Krueger, the taxidermist mounting my desert sheep, is also mounting the buck. He just got done preserving the velvet so the hunter can show the antlers around until it's time to get the mount done. It's a super looking trophy that the outfitter scored at a maybe somewhat generous 242 (the photo makes it look like 400!). Close up in real time size, it appears to score somewhere between 215-225.
