Shot those like they were nuisance animals back where I grew up... The little one looks more like a Brant. The smaller body and stubby bill would be weird for a Canada. Not ruling it out though- cool mounts!

Looks like a cackler Canada to me, the bigger one is an interior greater Canada. There are tons of different subspecies of Canada's. we have Richardson Canada geese here in ND and they are smaller then a mallard.

I stand VERY corrected... looks like I need to brush up a little bit on my Lemaster method. Cackling Goose (Branta hutchinsii)

Now that's a Canadian. Wow.

Actually like some other guys mentioned its a Canada Goose. Canadians are those old people that show up in RVs in November and fill up trailer parks, drink Canadian Mist, and watch hockey games.

Nice work TomGobbler.... They still are a nuisance critter back in NY Scooter, there is a long spilt season with a big daily limit... They stay all winter long, the State DEC herds them up from certain areas and "humanely" disposes of them... By the way, goose breast makes super jerky (inedible Bird to me cooked any other way)...

I've been trying to get back home during one of those special goose-whacking seasons but I never end up being able to go. I've eaten quite a few pounds of goose jerky... it is delicious and easy to make!
