azcouesandelk Report post Posted October 15, 2006 I am not sure how well barska makes adapters but I am not a fan of barska at all. Had a scope of theres and 1 shot from my .243 and it knocked the crosshairs out.
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted October 16, 2006 Christian, give Barska a chance man! not all guns can handle the huge recoil from that powerful .243... especially with the heavy, bulldog weight 80-90 grain bullets!
azcouesandelk Report post Posted October 16, 2006 Hate to say it but I was shooting 60 grain ballistic tips. Maybe it was 55 grain can't quite remember.
TwoGuns Report post Posted October 23, 2006 well, just to let anyone know who might want to know, i bought one of these adapters...figured i would try one out and maybe save a bunch of money. anyway, it works great and i was able to take a few pictures the other day from the front yard where i live in camp verde through my nikon sky earth 20-60x80. This adapter cost me about $40 bucks including shipping on ebay. much better than the one i was told i needed to buy made by nikon that was $199. here is a picture of the towers on Squaw Peak above camp verde, dont know how many miles they are from my place, but pretty far. and here is one of my neighbors flowers on his patio about 150 yards away.
