ghost hunter Report post Posted October 12, 2006 I am interested in feedback from anyone who has or has looked at one of the range finders with the ability to compensate for the uphill/downhill angle. It seems that Bushnell and Leupold both have one.
azhuntnut Report post Posted October 12, 2006 I took a look through those at Cabelas and noticed that they were off by a yard or two. I tried this on a straight shot, not angled. Plus, those units have a downside, you have to calibrate them before you use them. If drop them while you are hunting, you have to recalibrate it again and it is no easy task. ghost hunter Report post Posted October 21, 2006 Huntnut, Thanks for the input. I ordered one the other day but just got the "back ordered until ?" card today. Might not have to worry about knocking the calibration off this year.
