jefftrucker12 Report post Posted October 12, 2006 i just got back scouting 19a for my upcoming hunt. i checked all of the tanks that the elk have hit in previous years . all of the tanks that i thought would be really good right now have no elk tracks. it rained about a week ago and i did see a some standing water in some spots on the mountain but there was very little. i really like this area and know if well since i hunted it the last two years, but this year it doesnt look too good. im just wondering if anyone has seen any elk in 19a lateley. im thinking that they are all really high in the pines on mingus.
