COUESAZ Report post Posted October 24, 2006 TLH I am just harasing you a bit. I am sure that CHD has a few friends around. I do not get into god and christ fight with anyone. if any thing we all have for sure it is our right to choice. I am sure that chris is a great hunter, and great guy. he has brought my Wife and kids into an argument we had on some subject that i am sure was somthing about somebody and how they need to learn to spell and learn how to be a contrabution to the site. or waite was it the time he jumped on a member of our site and called him a wimp and a bad hunter because they did not kill a lion when they saw it. or wait was it the time he braged about being an out of state hunter that drew a tag and how funny it was that we all got screwed by the rulling for the cap that year. or crud i can't remeber because it is always something. I'm kinda new to the site, but I really look forward to reading everyone's posts about hunting and seeing the pix and videos some of the members are good enough to share with the rest of us. But I don't think whether or not I am religious has any relevance on this site - this is a hunting website. if i want to talk religion, i'll go to a religious site. by the way, those were some awesome pictures - gets your blood pumping for this Friday opening day! coueshunter Report post Posted October 24, 2006 I for one have no problem talking about God and especially since it is from him that all our wonderful coues deer and scenery comes from, I think giving him thanks is definitely part of my hunting experience. I dont think anyone on this forum has pressured their views on anyone, and if I have been wrong in my views expressed to someone else, then I publicly apologize. I think we can have this great forum, talk about deer/wildlife and talk about God all at the same time. Thanks Amanda for such a great webiste..........Allen.......... TLH Report post Posted October 24, 2006 Desertbull--yes, i believe i was a part of that conversation when it was going around--he has his right to not like youth hunts all he wants--it won't do him any good but he can have opinion just the same. I have a few folks out there that think the youth hunts are a bunch of bull--all of them have no kids, are not married and have no idea why it is so necessary to get the kids going down the hunting road--i understand that and leave it at that--i don't get into arguments with folks that have strong beliefs and i do not judge them for those beliefs--it keeps life simple. I will stick to what my Mom told me a long time ago--"Worry about those things you can change and don't spend a minute on the one's you can't" It has kept my life simple and i like it that way--that all said, i do get into it with some of the folks at the AWF because they need to be enlightened sometimes!! KGAINES Report post Posted October 25, 2006 I for one am not trying to preach to anyone, I am just saying what I thought needed to be said, I haven't been to church in years, I cuss way to much ( thank goodness I can censor myself on the computer), I love to hunt, but I believe in God, and when that gets brought up I will state what is obvious to me. The one thing about all of these posts is that if we don't like the topic or what is being said we don't have to read it. We live in a society today that will scream freedom of speach if you tell them not to say f-this or f-that, I hear more about gay marriage, animal rights, pollution, smoking, drinking and drugs, and every body makes excuses to me about why they are ok to talk about, but somebody says praise the lord and he is told he can't say that, it is not wanted here. well out of all the things I just mentioned I would much rather talk about something good ( God ), than all the other things. Chris, Yes, I can say I am actually say I am being nice to you. I decided that there is no reason to hold any hostilty toward you or anyone else on here. I respect who you are as I hope you can respect who I am. You once wrote that I take you way too serious and I probably did. I allowed you to get under my skin, that was my fault. I can agree with you religion is a personal thing and should be kept that way. I won't talk religion or politics on here as this can only create more division on issues not related to this forum.
