Home Window Replacement

Recommended Posts

The house my family lives in is a 40+ year old slump block house with the original single pane windows. My wife and I are wanting to replace the windows and looking for recommendations of some Tucson companies so that we can start getting estimates. Any advice or experiences, stuff to look for or avoid?

Thanks!!

I use to work for two different companies in Tucson one was, Petty products ans Stan Greer back 10 years ago I could say a lot for both I would go with Stan Greer because when I worked for them they did more of remodeling type then the other did. And the owner supports hunting. If I could get the windows I would gladly help you out.

I can't help you out with Tucson companies. I just finished replacing all the windows in my home with low E dual pane vinyl windows. Regardless of who you go with, check and re check their measurements. Nothing like having to wait additional time for a window they mis measured. Especially after waiting weeks and weeks for the initial order to arrive and be installed.

There are a lot of tucson companies I use as a GC in Tucson. American openings, Tucson window and door, olanders, window depot, StanGreer. All have their pluses and minuses. I would base my recommendation on the value of the home. Pm me an approximate value if tou like, and I will recommend a company and window brand.

Triple Payne systems. Great guys to deal with, they are big time hunters, do awesome work and can order just about any window you need. I worked with them for our home I'm building. I bought a house full of windows for around 60% savings! (Ordered for another home that never got picked up) they may have something similar that will fit your house? I also bought my doors from them at great prices. Family owned and great guys!
