New rules for bobcats

Recommended Posts

Thing is, IMO 95% of the trappers release kittens and females. They/Me only keep the Toms. How is that data going to help when it shows almost all cat jaws that will be turned in to be male.........

They know that it takes a female to create a male. They also know that if you turn in nothing but mature cats every year, there are young cats being born in previous years.

These new laws are here to help us even tho it may be an inconvienence

I dont understand why called in bobcats are not included if they are trying to keep accurate records of the total harvest, seams a little one sided to me.Im a caller and a trapper and to me this should apply to all bobcats.Just my opinion.

For every 1 bobcat shot by a predator hunter there are 20-30 taken by trappers. It's probably higher than that.
