Old school indian spear and bow

I dont know too much about this, as it was given to me by a close family friend. It came from her father. Although neither one of us know anything about it, we both know it was high end and he paid a pretty penny for it (North of $500 if memory serves correctly. Trying to get $150 for gas money from the set.
