BACKCOUNTRY Report post Posted June 8, 2004 I was just notified by the AZ Game and Fish, that they have extended the "ON-LINE" application deadline till tomorrow, June 9th -7pm. I don't know why they extended it, but I would hope that if there was a problem with the apps. that are already submitted they would notify those people and allow more than one day for those individuals if it was azgfd's fault. It would keep saying it was trying, to push the refresh button and then it would not go any farther. My friends did the same thing. he just called me and said it worked today. If you had a problem I think it is set up to tell you about the problem. I hope mine works today Because i have a date with the buck that got away last december. I am into this buck with three 25-06 shells. And that is one more shell than I have shot at my last two bucks put together. Come on december hunt . Idahocoueshunter Report post Posted June 9, 2004 I sent my in application in several weeks ago, but it did not give me a session or conformation number, but would not let me re-apply either. I almost developed an ulcer worrying that I had screwed up my only chance. I called the G&F and she looked up my account and said all looked good on their end. Still not being a believer I called my credit card company just to make sure AG&F had charged my card. I'll still be on Prilosec until I get my permit in the mail. Craig. After reading you guys posts and reading all that negativity it seem that I'll get a tag after all;man I only have two weeks vacation and I was trying to use them for a Sonora hunt but I guess I'll have to split my vacation. Kevin Report post Posted June 9, 2004 I'm right there with you guys. Pass the prilocec please. I got my application in (I think) but it took like 2 hours while the computer chugged away. I had to wait until after midnight to get on the system in the first place! That will teach me to wait for my buddy to make up his mind at the last minute. COUESAZ Report post Posted June 9, 2004 D Back I just did not know until the last minute If I was going to put in or not. All I did was put in for one december coues dere hunt and that is all. I almost didn't put in for anything. Last year I only hunted for two day's of my december hunt. I did not want to put in and add another guy to the draw this year if it looked like I would not be able to hunt. So I figured I would just buy a bonus point this year for Elk. And use it next year with my other 6 points. I put in late every year anyway that is just the way I have done it all my life. So good luck to ya D Back AZ and all the rest of you guys too. I wonder if a quota hasn't been met and they are trying to allow for more apps., I will be curious to see if they have more or less than last year. spectr17 Report post Posted June 10, 2004 Server overload probably. I know one year I waited until the last day to apply online and had trouble.
