azcouesandelk Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Well I am back from my scouting trip. Throughout the weekend I was able to locate 13 bucks (4 were 3x3's 5 were forks and 2 of the forks were over 70 and the rest were spikes). The snakes were out big time this weekend also. I saw 3 rattlers (2 blacktails and a western diamondback). Also out of the 13 buck 4 were out of velvet. Only a few more weekends til the October hunt. All the pictures minus the random critter were taken from 600 to 800 yards. Here is a small 3x3 Here is a good 3x3 Here is a video of the good 3x3 Here is a video of both 3x3's Here is a find the deer pic (should be pretty easy) Here is my random critter for the scouting trip. (first trip was a tarantula second trip was a turtle and this trip he is a little more dangerous).
AZP&Y Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Great pictures and nice video. I see a deer in the middle of the picture ,bedded down in the shade? - It's probably because I took Duwane Adams -course on "glassing coues" Did have a question, are you camping in that Arivaca RV park during your hunt? I have the December tag so I'm trying to figure out where to stay/camp with the least amount of hassle and problems with my things disappearing. Thanks for sharing the pictures- I'm going down there to scout after the 1000 folks get through with the October fun. Doug AzP&Y
azcouesandelk Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Yes I am staying at the Univeral Ranch RV park. They have full hookups for only $25 a night or $10 a night for tent camping and you don't have to worry about illegal activity. That didnt take to long for someone to find the deer

COOSEFAN Report post Posted October 10, 2006 Hey Christian, nice job! I wish I could figure out how to do the photobucket video stuff Here is some pics I took last year and is also over 800 yrds and is my first attempt at didgiscoping. I have the same setup as you but diferent camera, mine kinda sucks! You know right where I was sitting when I took these pics, and they probably aren't far from where you took yours This one is in the canyon area behind to the north of the tank I recently told you about. Good job, and best of luck to you and your dad! JIM>
