out2hunt Report post Posted August 6, 2013 Azwest16-Regan, we met about four years ago in 5bn on an archery hunt that you and your brother had just been successful on. Your dad wife and child were there too. I was the passenger in the blue ford excursion lifted way to high up and driven to fast by my buddy lol. You all welcomed us in for dinner and showed us a world of hospitality. I will always remember that night as we shared your success with you. I drew my first archery bull tag, first elk tag period this year in 5a. On your hunt that year they were responsive to light calling very light, you actually gave my buddy your call. kidso Report post Posted August 6, 2013 Regan, great bull and sweet butchering photos! If we are telling Regan stories, I met him a few years back as we both had cameras on the same water source. We exchanged data and pics throughout the season...it was a deer for bear picture exchange! Like Out2hunt said, a very nice guy willing to share and lend a hand. out2hunt Report post Posted August 6, 2013 Hey Ryan good to hear from you as well! Pretty hard to forget such a kind gesture, that dinner was a life saver. We were still 30 minutes to our camp and it was already dark thirty. I will give you a call right before the hunt and let you know my exact location, camp is still to be determined based upon the set up being used. I have had help getting ready for this hunt and made a lifetime friend in the process. Hopefully we can get it done, but I won't hesitate to call upon your skills if necessary. Praying all is well for your families and that you both stay safe at work. Kurt drew the late archery unit 1 tag and his wife drew the unit 10 muzzy tag!
