Avid Hunter Report post Posted August 5, 2013 At first glance I thought it was pretty obvious that the deer in question was a mule deer, but now I am not sure. What do you guys think. The wide buck is for sure coues by the looks of his tail. The other one (tall one in front) is the one I am not sure on. Never get a great shot of his tail so I can't tell. His eye guards, or lack there of screams mule deer to me. Would a coues and muley run around together like this? I think mule deer but hey what do I know.
