OutdoorAviator Report post Posted July 30, 2013 Hey everyone. New transplant to SW AZ. Stationed at Yuma, fly at the air station, and looking forward to the upcoming seasons. Drew a mule deer tag for 41, and will be getting out often on the weekend to scope out the area for sign. If anyone is in the area, feel free to say hi. I've hunted blacktail and whitetail, so hopefully these mulies cooperate haha
Heat Report post Posted July 30, 2013 Howdy! Welcome to the Sunniest Place in the USA, maybe the world! You've come to the right site to get info about hunting in AZ. You won't find a classier, more informative bunch for the most part. I'm a Yuma and Arizona native and would be happy to shoot the breeze or give a push in the right direction if needed. Shoot me a PM! Good Luck! Nick

PRDATR Report post Posted July 31, 2013 You couldn't have "landed" in a better place. Lots of good CWT Peeps down there.
markgann Report post Posted July 31, 2013 I grew up in Yuma when it was still part of the United States. Did a lot of hunting with my older brothers in unit 39. You'll have a blast chasing mulies and If you fly from the air base you should be Abel to spots some deer. Welcome to az and have fun
PRDATR Report post Posted July 31, 2013 Dude That Ain't Right. That's an ignorant thing to say, even for someone who lives in Payson. Even if you're "able" to say it.

Ernesto C Report post Posted July 31, 2013 OutdoorAviator If I were you I'll call Sr. Phil right away. No one knows unit 39 and all the 40 units better than Sr. Phil and his son Matthew. No one knows mule deer and big horn sheep better than these two guys. Besides, they are awesome people to spend time with. I am from Yuma too, when you get time send me a pm, I'll buy you lunch and we can talk. Take care. Ernesto C
