jgabler Report post Posted October 3, 2006 I was wondering if anyone new a good place to apply for an archery bull hunt in Utah for next year? I can't get drawn here in AZ so I may as well try somewhere else I guess. It has been 11 years since I was drawn and that was a cow tag, so I have never been able to get a bull. elkhunter Report post Posted October 3, 2006 with 11 bonus points you can draw 5bn or 7e or 7w archery bull tag REAL easy! It's about 15% draw out there and with 11 bp you'll have a real good chance. If you put in for 1/27/3's/9/10/8 then you should expect atleast 13 years between drawing a tag, play with the stats smart and you can greatly increasae your odds of getting drawn Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

There are some big bulls there as well. I wouldn't put in for elk in UT...you will be walking with a walker before you get drawn!!! I would apply for mule deer (carp) in UT. There are some really good areas in NM as well as NV. You can get a good archery tag in CO with a few pref points. Send me a PM and I will give you a few units to apply in.
