TwoGuns Report post Posted October 2, 2006 A few weeks ago, I posted some pictures of a bull that had bedded down under my trail camera, and asked for help coming up with a score. Thanks to those of you who had input, but I think we might be able to better judge with some new (old) pictures I found of him. I ran into Josh Epperson this morning, and started talking about hunting in 11m since we have been and will be hunting there this friday. Anyway, after talking about the pictures I posted, he asked if the bull pictures were taken near kachina village, which they were. He thought that maybe Red Rabbit had posted some pictures of the same bull earlier this summer when the were out in the meadow along the highway. So, I did a little looking and Josh was right, there he was in 4 of Dougs picturs. Couldn't believe it. Notice he is a long pointed 5 point, with single eyeguards. Here are the pictures Red Rabbit posted of the same bull, followed by my trail cam pics. Tell me what you think, same bull? and what might he score? thanks, twoguns Thanks Red Rabbit for putting your pictures on, hope you dont mind if I borrow them... It was also good to meet shortpants at long valley this weekend. great weekend all around.

TwoGuns Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Looks like you found him. Did you get any pics of his buddies? RR I have tried to find the other Kachina elk, but havent had much success yet. I think I found one other, a real nice 6x6 in the 360 range, but have not been able to get pictures of him yet. I have a video of him from last year, and got close to him several times, but couldnt get close enough. Had a rough weekend though, the weather killed us. Hopefully, the weather clears up soon. You ever see those elk out and about when they are not in the field RR? twoguns
