Avenger Report post Posted July 20, 2013 I am learning all I can before I jump in and regret spending money on bad choices. I would like to know what resource material is good and a must have as well as ideas on building a Rem. 700 in 300 win mag. as for base and upgraded components and requirements to shoot in excess of 1000 yards. Thanks in advance for any input.

STOMP442 Report post Posted July 20, 2013 Practice practice practice. Practice from different shooting positions different angles and different ranges. Practice in adverse weather conditions in the cold in the hot in the windy in the calm. All the best equipment in the world won't make any difference if you don't practice with it and get to know the rifle. Putting the bullet where its supposed to go is more important than anything else.
