Big Browns Report post Posted July 25, 2013 I scout as soon as I know I have a tag. Not for animals, but for new area's and to get to know the land. Water can be very important that time of year. I would spend as much time possible finding as many springs and trails as possible. The more you know about your hunting area the better off you will be. Either way I'm sure you will have a lot of fun.

4Falls Report post Posted July 26, 2013 Since every time I've had a Sept archery tag the rut has been non-existent I'd have to say that I've had allot more opportunities on the November hunts. I've had quite a few of these and have one again this year in unit 8. Scout lots of different terrain and habitat. Have a few plans. Weather is key.
