KaibabHunter Report post Posted July 16, 2013 They kids and I head out tomorrow to check cams and poke around. Called Coconino natl forest to see what the campfire status is since they've been getting lots of rain. She stated as of 8 am July 17th there will be NO campfire restrictions for Coconino, Tonto, or Kaibab natl forests. This is per the Flagstaff Ranger Station: (928) 526-0866. Call your own NF to be sure but this is what was just told. Just thought I'd pass this along. My boys love a good campfire.

tjhunt2 Report post Posted July 16, 2013 That is good news for us who want to go scout and spend the night. I think we still need to be extremely careful and use a lot of common sense with our campfires. Thanks for the report and sharing. TJ
