Pine Donkey Report post Posted July 28, 2013 Those are all great deer! If the picture set up makes them look bigger, then more power to them. Every one of those deer is a trophy in the hunters own book, that's all that matters. For those who feel the camera angle and hunters position make the deer look bigger than they are, don't look at the person. When field judging a deer on the hoof, you don't have the luxury of comparing it to the size of a person. You have to rely on the relationship of the horns to the length of the ears, width of the nose or size of the eye. For myself, if I can make a 90 inch coues look like a 100 inch buck, I am going to do it. What the heck, it looked bigger to me when I decided to shoot. I am always glad to let the camera erase some ground shrinkage.
