How many people have dove hunted in northeren arizona in september, and have you done any good in the last few years? Seems like the bird hunting here has gone down hill. I hear down south towards parker is a good spot but have also heard that you need to wear body armor.

Last few years I have shot lot less dove around Prescott valley/ Winslow area than before. Not sure how northern u are talking, but seems like after the first good storm they head south.

Personally I'd like to see the season open up a week or 10 days earlier so everyone north of Tucson has more opportunity on White Wings.

I did well around Flag two years ago and actually limited out a couple times. Last year was terrible. I only got one shot off. Seems like if there are good rains that last into September then the doves move down into the desert.

yeah ive always hunted in between willams and the Grand Canyon also between Flag and the Grand Canyon, but about 6-7 years ago i remeber going with about 5 people and everyone of us would get a limit. i went a year ago saw maybe ten birds, thought id try my hotspot where i have seen hundreds upon hundreds...... 1 bird thats it.

Went out to a friends today to shoot my bow saw good numbers so hopefully it will be a good year

Up north you have to have sunflowers that are drying up. The last few years the rain has hit late and the sunflowers are not dry enough to seed soon enough to bring in the birds.

South is too crazy, don't come south, unless you have an army helmet
