POB Report post Posted July 15, 2013 I'm thinking about booking a buffalo hunt out of state. Does anyone have any experience with an outfitter you would recommend? Not interested in a corral shoot, looking for something at least resembling a hunt. Thanks in advance. Pat.

CouesWhitetail Report post Posted July 15, 2013 One of the most experienced buffalo guides in the state and a sponsor of this site is Lance Crowther of Timberland outfitters. Give him a call and see what he can do for you. I would hire him if I had a buffalo hunt! Not sure what he knows about buffalo out of state. http://www.tlohunting.com/

wildwoody Report post Posted July 17, 2013 wow he went up in price. if you go there ask him about the pretty little red head who drop her cow with 1 shoot at 282 yards with a 270. he said see's the only one who can use a 270 on his ranch. great guy. he does't deal with BS or premadonas
resolute Report post Posted July 17, 2013 Northern plains outfitters in Athol, South Dakota. I hunt with Shannon the owner every year. It is a tough hunt as it is very flat! Check out his website at www.northernplainsoutfitters.com. It is a great hunt with awesome accommodations.
