Buffalo Hunts

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking about booking a buffalo hunt out of state. Does anyone have any experience with an outfitter you would recommend? Not interested in a corral shoot, looking for something at least resembling a hunt. Thanks in advance. Pat.

if you can get a hold off the the hartz ranch below lordsburg in new mexico by antilope wells. its a 190,000 acer ranch all far chase these buggers are skiddish great hunt . Just below the Turner ranch and acrossed the road from the Budweiser. no guides just the rancher and his ranch hands. I had a kid named remington take me out and i shoot a 201 inch 7 year old bull at 450 yards and my wife got her cow at 292 yards its far chase but don't scare the heard into mexico Avery will get pissed. Haven't been in a few years it was 2500.00 for bulls and 1,600.00 for a cow he only does about 15 a year

One of the most experienced buffalo guides in the state and a sponsor of this site is Lance Crowther of Timberland outfitters. Give him a call and see what he can do for you. I would hire him if I had a buffalo hunt! Not sure what he knows about buffalo out of state.

wow he went up in price. if you go there ask him about the pretty little red head who drop her cow with 1 shoot at 282 yards with a 270. he said see's the only one who can use a 270 on his ranch. great guy. he does't deal with BS or premadonas

Northern plains outfitters in Athol, South Dakota. I hunt with Shannon the owner every year. It is a tough hunt as it is very flat! Check out his website at www.northernplainsoutfitters.com. It is a great hunt with awesome accommodations.
