43F Report post Posted July 12, 2013 Anyone else pull a Unit 23 Turkey Tag? This will be my first true turkey hunt. Any other first timers want to join up? Any tips anyone can give me? Not on the unit, just general turkey hunting tips. Going to head out to the unit for Labor Day weekend and do some scouting, and maybe look for some deer with an otc deer tag. PRDATR Report post Posted July 12, 2013 Turkey's like to water a couple of times a day so hunt areas with water. Look for tracks and poop and they like to roost in Ponderosa's and Walnut and Ash Trees.
