MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted July 12, 2013 I know I saw a books to read section but cant find it now so here ya go, I am reading some books about B.C. hunting back in the 30's and thru to the 60's and this one now is crazy but a good read. I have a signed copy from Del Burk called Horses, Trails, and Trophies. Man they were nuts back then and I feel like a little girl hunter compared to what these guys were doing. Several books from up there are just as crazy.

MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted July 15, 2013 Turns out this family worked long years in bc and ended up snow birds in az. Small world, I have camped in the same spot under the same tree described in this book.
Edge Report post Posted May 25, 2015 Was a good read. I believe Del only had a junior high school education but the contents of his horse packing and outfitting adventures kept my attention. Sending half broke pack horses on zip lines over raging rivers; heck yeah! Thanks, Mike
