bojangles Report post Posted July 9, 2013 it showed up in the mail today. seems pretty resourceful. what's the story behind it?
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted July 9, 2013 Outdoorsmans Resource Guide was created by a local guy name Craig Steele and his wife Richelle. They wanted to create a product to provide useful info to hunters. It's great for finding resources you might need when out in the field. If your truck breaks down, it's great for finding numbers of local mechanics. If you kill a trophy animal, it lists the local taxidermists and meat processors. It lists gas stations, hotels, and much more. It's a great product and ORG is a sponsor of this site and has been for years. Craig and Richelle are great people and have created an excellent product!! You can read more about them and what the ORG is about on their website: http://www.outdoorsmansresourceguide.com/Who_we_are..html

CouesWhitetail Report post Posted July 9, 2013 Don't know how you got it free, maybe he got a list of hunters from AGFD and just did a sampling of them to generate some interest by sending some out free.

Fulch Report post Posted July 10, 2013 I bet mines in the mail when I get home. Now I am looking forward to it. I saw a post about how it started as an idea the other day, cool story. After, I looked into the blog briefly and made a mental note to spend some time reading later especially now after reading what people have to say in this thread. cohntr6 Report post Posted July 10, 2013 I got one a few days ago. Thanks to whoever sent it, seems like a good resource guide and I love the pictures and stories. I guess I received one since I got an archery bull tag 2 years in a row and my luck is still rolling.....now for that sheep tag...LOL Jeff
CEI Report post Posted July 10, 2013 Hey guys. We are glad you liked the ORG. FYI-they are not free. The supporters pay for a few hunters to get them each year so you should thank them. We use an algorithm, so if you got one TWICE, you are extremely fortunate, considering AZ has over 150,000 hunters. Best-Craig
darrcolburn Report post Posted July 10, 2013 ORG is a must have for Arizona hunters. Great, articles, adivse and resources. Craig, Richelle, Lee and the rest of the crew are great people and do a ton of research putting the magazine together. Money well spent.
