capoeirajosh Report post Posted July 9, 2013 Anybody try out the 2013 field ready pse brute x? It looks pretty awesome on paper. I consistently see complaints about the screws coming loose on the cams. These are from the 2012 models though. I am looking at this one, the assassin from bowtech, and the bow madness. Something I heard about the assassin though is that the accessories that come with it are not that great and that most usually just replace everything on it. Elkhunter1 Report post Posted July 9, 2013 I just got my Brute last week and the only thing I can say needs to be replaced is the stabilizer. It seems very flimsy to me. I would suggest putting a very small amount of lock-tite on the cam screws just to make sure they don't come off or loosen. After replacing the sight with the Sonoran sight my brother makes it took me only 15 minutes to get it sighted at 20 yards with 3 inch groups. I really like this bow. capoeirajosh Report post Posted July 10, 2013 Wow!! I shot the brute x tonight over at Cabela's. I couldn't believe how quiet and FAST it was! I loved it. I still have not shot the assassin though.
