My Rights As An American Report post Posted July 3, 2013 Only fished it once or twice, but caught fish each time in short periods using a panther martin in 1/32 and SUPER light line. I have a great memory of there with my daughter who was probably 18 months old and I brought her down the steep trail on the south (?) side and caught two fish in about 45 minutes. She wanted so bad to hold them. Shore was rocky and hard for her to stand but she stood there nicely and fished with me. Then I carried her all the way back up that trail on my shoulders. GREAT memory!!!!!!!!!!! I have thought back on that moment quite a few times and smiled ear to ear! I think that south side trail is the best one to use because less people use it. Lots of shoreline access. Have to think a small crayfish lure would work well, but not sure.
capoeirajosh Report post Posted July 9, 2013 I usually get them on super dupers there. I have also gotten them on white spinners. As far as bait is concerned, corn works well there. So does salmon eggs. I have not gotten to try the crayfish thing yet. I think I will though next time I am there. The crayfish are everywhere in that lake. I would imagine they would work quite well. Good fishin to ya!
