They have successfully protested at locations across the country that are way more "backwoods" than AZ.

 

These people have lawyers and make their money suing people.

They want a rise out of people.

 

If you search the internet, you can find where communities have successfully driven them out of town,

or barricaded their vehicles at their hotel so they couldn't attend funerals to protest, etc.

 

I sure hope they don't show, but if they do, they may get what they have coming to them.

Sad to see that they have brainwashed children into their cause as well.

Arizona does have a law that was created in 2011 after the Tucson shootings. It was created and rushed through our state legislature and signed by Governor Brewer to make it illegal to protest these type of events within 300 feet of a funeral procession from one hour before to one hour after the funeral. The law was enacted to keep the Westboro Babtist Church from protesting the funerals of those killed in the Tucson shootings. If I remember violation of the law is a class one misdemeanor.

 

Chef is 100% correct. This group is looking for attention and travels with video cameras and lawyers in hopes of filing lawsuits against those that retaliate against them.

 

The city of Prescott has put out notices out to business owners, hotels, restaurants, etc. to refuse providing goods or services to this group and is encouraging peaceful ways to show that they are not welcome!

 

I have also heard rumors that they are already here in town but I don't know for sure. Lots of rumors are circulating right now.

Would it not better for the City of Prescott to issue peaceful demonstration permits to line both sides of the road all the way to the funeral and all the sites around there to the general public prior to these scumbags? That way everything is done legally and the scumbags will have no course of action?
