WOW! Great Bull.

I thought he was going to step on you!

As someone else asked, how far away was he at the closest? Looked like he was so close the arrow couldn't be released from the bow!

At the closest I think he was under 4 yards I figue I released at about 7 yards. It was a great hunt and I feel blessed to finally have drawn a tag. Even with the limited amount of time I had it worked out nicely.

thanks for the good words.

3c only a few miles from the house i grew up in. I actually had been scouting and hunting in a bunch of areas away from where I shot this bull, but my dad gave me a tip on that huge typical 6x6 so I went searching for him. Nice to have family still in a area you want to hunt. I give my dad huge thanks for spending time for me in the woods while i'm down here finishing school.

Congratulations!! That was some really good footage that you got with that bull coming in until he was practically right on top of you. The adrenaline must have really been pumping with him coming right in like that.

Thats awesome! They didn't grow tops like that on my side of the state this year and the rut was weak! Sounds and looks like the East siders got the good stuff this year, great job on a beautiful bull! JIM>
