curtis25 Report post Posted July 1, 2013 Looking to buy a remington 700 or 788 in .243 or .6mm this is for my dad he cant take recoil any more but wants to keep hunting even a youth rifle will work as i am going to build his stock on what ever rifle he gets i am leaning to the 788 but either one will work. The 257 roberts would be great but my dad is not a reloader he is 72 years old and i dont think we will change him. my dad is right handed. Thanks we will just keep looking .
