WFGinNM Report post Posted September 26, 2006 I'll be heading down to 23 in a couple weeks to scout. I plan on looking around north of the San Francisco since most guys here seem to like the south. Trying not to crowd anyone. I've hunted there in the past found a few coues with no luck shooting one yet, and always ran into muley hunters. If I stay off the mesa tops will I still be able to find coues? I figure I'll drop off the edges and glass the canyon sides and lower benches. With 475 muley tags I'm sure I'll run into a few others. Maybe the other hunters will keep them away from the roads. Thanks, --Bill

fatfootdoc Report post Posted September 27, 2006 I will be going out to 23 as soon as I get back from WY to start scouting. That will be around the 20th and will go both weekends. Hopefully will see some good head gear, saw some huge mulies while elk hunting so looks like there may be some good antler growth in there this year.
