White Mountain Walleyes

Recommended Posts

My dad and I went bass and walleye fishing up here in the White Mountains this morning. We ended up catching 13 walleye, 8 bass and 2 catfish. It was a fun morning for as hot as it was. The largest five walleyes were between 3 and 4.5 lbs. Here are a few pics. A lot of the walleyes were released for another day.

Never caught a walleye but I have eaten a bunch of them in my youth back in Buffalo, WI, and MI. Man I miss a good fish fry.

Holy crap Brian, them are some awesome looking walleyes. Great pictures of you and Dad. I should have gone to Lyman when I was up there last week. No matter where you and your dad go you always seem to know just what it takes. When I grow up I want to catch fish like you. Thanks for sharing.

Wow it's got a lot better than it was 4 years ago. When I moved from Eagar I could catch a couple every once in awhile but not those type of numbers. I think it being closed off for those couple years really helped.
