Elkhunter1 Report post Posted June 19, 2013 I would like to know who owns this cam. Please understand there is NO animosity here, I was thinking that we both have had cames up in this area over the past three years and was wanting to join forces against the evil HOARDS of Coues Deer. Please PM me. Thanks in advance: Stephen
Elkhunter1 Report post Posted June 20, 2013 I would like to stress that in no way am I upset about the cam placement or any other subject related to this I just want to talk to the owner, maybe we could hunt together some time. I am always looking for like-minded hunters.
Pine Donkey Report post Posted June 20, 2013 If it is around Payson it might belong to JR brown soon.
Elkhunter1 Report post Posted June 20, 2013 If it is around Payson it might belong to JR brown soon. He would have to drive 4.5 hours just to get into the right mountian range, I don't think he has the "drive" for it. Most loosers don't want to work for it. AZLance Report post Posted June 22, 2013 Looks like a Reconyx HyperFire camera... pretty expensive camera
DesertBull Report post Posted June 24, 2013 Kinda strange to invest in a $50 box and put a $1.00 lock on it. You could probably twist that off with a multi-tool.
Elkhunter1 Report post Posted June 24, 2013 Honestly I could pry open the box, it is just spot welded. NOT the way I make them. I am trying to team up with the guy, no sense in both of us having cams in the same canyon.

CouesBuckhunter Report post Posted June 28, 2013 That's an old reconyx rc55. And I'm sure he doesnt really care about it being secure in the lock box because it has codeloc on it. You can't operate the cam at all unless you have the code, unlike the coverts which only keep people from changing the settings unless they have the code. That is if h set it up with a code.. That's why I love the reconyx... if you do anything, change the batteries, change the SD card, try to change any settings... you have to know the code. And the only way to reset the code is send it back to the factory.
Elkhunter1 Report post Posted June 29, 2013 He does have another sticker on the side that says GPS trackable or something like that, that refers to being tackable. I did leave a note in it this last Wednesday with my son.
