Beretta 92 9mm

Recommended Posts

I have for sale a Beretta model 92 9mm pistol. It has Pacmar rubber grips, factory grips, 2 -15 round magazines, a new holster, and 300 rounds of 9mm ammo.

I am asking $800.00. My name is Dave, please PM me, and I will answer them in the order I receive them. I live in Avondale.

I'm not very familar with that gun. With that said, I think $500 seems about right. You may want to try backpage or gunbroker.

My estimate is these items wound go new for about:

  • Pistol $700ish
  • Ammo $80-$100
  • Grips $20
  • Holster $50-$75

Your price seems reasonable if you are willing to wait for a buyer looking for these specific items. But if you want to sell quick might need to drop the price a bit to entice someone not necessarily wanting to buy now.

On a side note, I have a Beretta 92fs and love it. Great reliable gun.

Good luck

I've got the same gun in blue finish - similar (Hogue) grips. Really like it, and the grips are great. When I bought mine (a long time ago) it was $450 new. That was cheap even back then. Jensen's in Tucson had ordered a whole bunch for the Tucson PD, and going from memory, the PD decided to switch to Glock around that time, so Jensen's sold a bunch of them really cheap.

A quick scan on gunbroker, looks like around $475-$600 for blue, standard grips, depending on condition. This one looks nice, good holster. IMO a little over-priced, but hey, may as well start with what you would like to get out of it, and go from there. Agree with Ross about the reliability. I've had mine a long time, and don't shoot it all that often but I don't recall any failures, even with cheap ammo.

I went through this same thing recently with a bunch of fly fishing gear and I actually really appreciated the input of other members, so here goes.

Grips 20$

Holster 40$

Ammo (looks like the steel cased stuff and only 150 rounds shown in pic) 36$ (if you have full 300) 72$

Gun 550$ (depending on round count and condition of barrel/ brand new stainless can be found for 650$)

So, 646$ to 682$ depending on how many rounds there are. 700$ seems like a fair starting point for me. I'll also agree about the quality and reliability of this gun with the above posters. There is a reason why so many law enforcement agencies all over the world have been using this gun or variation of it for like 30 years. Hope this helps.

EDIT: All my prices were for used items except of course the ammo.

I have the same gun with factory grips. Bought it at a gun show 7 years ago, used, 2 mags, no holster, $375.00. I think that was a pretty good price back then, the hype has pushed the prices up.

Great gun for shooting.

Yeah Hoghntr, I remember Mel Gibson shooting a smiley face with his at some insane range. I'm sure that scene played a role in my decision to get one. Back then, Jensen's did an "accurizing" job where they would tack weld little stubs on the barrel to reduce play.

Definitely a super nice gun, capable of shooting better than most handgunners.

I paid $550 for my 92 new, 1 1/2 years ago. If I sold my gun....probably $450ish for gun alone.

Just add OBO and see where it goes.
