CRAZYBUCK Report post Posted June 9, 2013 2 years ago I saw in the pines in 4a while scouting my elk hunt maybe we are on to something here
azhuntnut Report post Posted June 9, 2013 I know of a pretty good buck that was shot in the pines a couple years ago. Plus I have seen other good bucks hanging in he pines as well. Seems like they are realizing they have more cover band shade in the trees. David
bonecollector Report post Posted June 9, 2013 Cool pics thanks for sharing. We saw a single lope yesterday hanging out with some elk in unit 1, not in the pines.
Seldom Drawn Report post Posted June 10, 2013 Very nice pics, you guys must spend all your time looking for cows deer.I have seen antelope in 6a,6b,8,11m,5b.s 5bn and 7 since 1977 this isn't new people just don't think this is goat country and unless they are elk hunting and see them they would never have a clue how many live in the trees.it can be very hard to keep finding your buck in the pine trees but there are some good ones there.seen some great ones in 9 too. GJMauro12 Report post Posted June 10, 2013 I've seen antelope in the pines twice this year in 5A. I've seen them in the pines in 7 and 5BN before but this year was the first for 5A.

Willyhunts2 Report post Posted June 16, 2013 I see them a lot in the pines in 6b. Like twigsnapper said, biggest lope I've seen by far was 6b. I think they get pretty big in there because there is no rifle hunt in the northern end. Cool pics.

rcdinaz Report post Posted June 17, 2013 I have similar pics from May on my cameras up on the rim. It looks like the elk move in and actuall run them off a lot of times.
