prowlerMan Report post Posted June 7, 2013 The story behind this is that the lion was spotted first walking up the hill right behind the deer. It got to the the top of the hill and rolled over on its back (belly in the air) and started scratching its back or something like a dog would do. After watching it for a few minutes it got up and casually walked out of view. Being so mesmerized by what had just gone on we kept watching the same spot and that's when the deer were spotted.
